On this May 16, presenting in the profile commission of the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh the results of the implementation of the state budget of last year, said the head of the financial department of the republic Grigory Martirosyan.
According to him, in terms of GDP per capita, Artsakh almost equaled Armenia. "Similar volumes of GDP made it possible to fix high economic growth rates of 15.6%," the Minister of Finance said. Grigory Martirosyan informed that the economic growth in Artsakh was mainly provided due to the growth of the mining industry, whose real growth was 54.8%, which allowed to ensure production of 97.5 billion drams. The average monthly salary in Artsakh was 155,433 drams with an increase of 1.8%.
Own revenues of the state budget amounted to 41.4 billion drams, which is 6.6% higher than the planned level. A significant part of the revenue side of the state budget was tax deductions. The deficit of the state budget was at the level of 3.305 billion drams, having decreased by 387 million drams compared to the previous year.
The total expenditures of the state budget amounted to 92.9 million drams, which, according to the updated data, is 96.5%. In comparison with the previous year, the expenditures of the state budget of Artsakh in 2017 increased by 8.8 percentage points. 2017, the Artsakh Minister stressed, the Republic closed without serious commitments.
