ArmInfo.State Minister of Artsakh Republic Artsakh, chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Investment Fund Grigory Martirosyan called for making mortgage lending more affordable for citizens. He said this on June 25 during the visit to the fund.
According to the state minister, the Fund is entrusted with an important mission of developing small and medium-sized businesses, as well as solving the housing problem of the country's population. As pointed out by Martirosyan, thanks to the effective system of SMEs state activity, the share of this sector in the country's GDP is growing every year. According to him, the policy will be continued, and existing mechanisms - improved.
At the same time, according to the state minister, to solve the housing problem of compatriots, it is necessary to revise the existing mortgage lending programs to create more favorable conditions for citizens. To this end, he said, the government is ready to expand programs implemented through the Fund.
Note that at present, citizens of the republic can take out a loan for housing at a rate of 6% per year (the state through the Investment Fund subsidizes 9%) with an initial contribution of 20%. As part of social programs, loans are available for an annual interest rate of 1%. Preferential loans are also provided for children from families of servicemen who died during the Karabakh war (without initial importation).
