ArmInfo. Armenian "Green Farmer" LLC received tax privileges for the implementation of the program of creating intensive gardens in the village of Yeraskh in the Ararat region. The decision on this was taken at a government meeting on July 26.
Presenting the draft decision, Minister of Economic Development and Investments Artsvik Minasyan stressed that the company will be exempted from VAT payments for imported equipment for three years. The total cost of the investment program is 1.87 billion drams. Of which 630 million drams are earmarked for the purchase of equipment. Until 2024, 250 new jobs will be created with an average salary of 150,000 drams.
Intensive gardens will be complemented by modern systems, including anti-hail systems. They will be protected from ultrasonic irradiation, wind, birds. Gardens will also have cooling protection systems that protect trees from frost, as well as drip irrigation systems.
Earlier it was reported that the company "Green Farmer" belongs to the sons of the former chairman of the State Revenue Committee Vardan Harutyunyan. According to the register of legal entities, the sons of the former chairman of the SRC - 22-year-old Henrik Harutyunyan and 23-year-old Ruben Harutyunyan owns 17% of the company's shares, and Arman Abrahamyan owns 66%.
