ArmInfo. Registered in the Armenian city of Echmiadzin, LLC "Argomanagement", engaged in the production of wine, by the regulations to date, purchased from farmers 13 tons of grapes. Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Armenia Artur Khachatryan was informed about it during the visit to the enterprise by the director of the LLC Aram Mashanyan.
According to the press service of the RA Ministry of Agriculture, the company intends to purchase 20 tons of amber bunches at a price of 240-250 AMD per kilogram. All products are purchased in the Echmiadzin region. In the current year, LLC for the first time exported its products, so far only to the Russian Federation. In 2018, the company also established its own gardens with drip irrigation, but neighboring unprocessed agricultural lands hinder their effective use. "When you create wine, you not only produce it, but at every stage you form its history," Aram Mashanyan said.
Arthur Khachatryan, stressing the importance of restoring wine traditions, noted that the reduction of unprocessed land is one of the priorities of the Armenian government. He said that next year will start the program for creating a cadastre of sprouts, which will allow inventorying all sprouts and grape varieties. This, according to the head of the department, will provide an opportunity to improve the quality of winemaking.
