ArmInfo. Acting Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of the Republic of Armenia Garegin Baghramyan does not think that the price of gas supplied by Russia to Armenia will increase. He stated this in an interview with reporters.
"Negotiations with Russian counterparts are continuing, and we are working on tariff cuts. I don't know about the proposals of the Russian side, naturally, our best result would be a price reduction," said Baghramyan. However, added the Acting Minister, it does not seem to him that the price will rise. "In any case, the results left to wait a few days," - he added.
To note, at present Armenia receives Russian gas at a price of $ 150 per 1000 kBm. However, this contract expires on January 1, 2019.
