As a comparison, we note that in 2017, the growth rates of these indicators were higher: external debt - by 14.6%, domestic - by 18.2%, which increased the total national debt of Armenia by 15.3%.In the structure of external debt, the government's share in 2018 increased from 89.1% to 90.1%, reaching $ 4.983 billion. And the share of the Central Bank, on the contrary, decreased from 10.9% to 9.9%, reaching $ 550.05 million. In 2018, the government's external debt slowed growth to 1.8%, and the Central Bank's external debt turned its dynamics towards a decline of 8.6%, while in 2017 high growth rates were recorded - 14% and 19.2%, respectively.In the structure of the internal public debt, government bonds dominate - in 2018 the share decreased from 87.2% to 86.9% ($ 1.2 billion or 584.5 billion drams), with an annual increase in the absolute value of 8.3%. Then follow the Armenian Eurobonds - $ 172.7 million or 83.6 billion drams, the share of which increased in 2018 from 12.1% to 12.4%, with an annual increase in the absolute value of 11.3%.
The rest is accounted for by guarantees - 0.7% ($ 9 million, unchanged for the year).
