ArmInfo.My goal is to make Armenia a country of high technologies, Armenian President Armen Sarkissian stated at the meeting with the management team of one of the leading international companies-THALES led by Vice President Raphael Eskinazi.
According to the press service of the RA President, during the meeting conducted in the framework of his working visit to France Armen Sarkissian attached particular importance to the role of high technologies in the process of the development of the country. At the same time, he emphasized the importance of modern systems equipped with elements of artificial intelligence and establishing links between new technologies and existing skills to stimulate innovations and start-ups.
After discussing the agreements reached earlier, the interlocutors clarified that at the end of February the Vice-President of the company and Regional Director Paul Remin is expected to visit Armenia. According to the report, the delegation will arrive in Armenia to get acquainted with the possibilities on the spot and to give practical base to the voiced proposals.
