ArmInfo. The "Arsenal LTD" company will invest 3 billion drams ($ 6.1 million) in expanding its own production. At the meeting on February 21, the Armenian government approved the company's application for exemption from customs payments for the supply of necessary equipment.
According to the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan, the company, founded in 2017, is engaged in the production of weapons and ammunition. The implementation of the new investment program will create an additional 200 jobs with an average salary of 250 thousand drams. It is planned that the company will annually produce products at 44 billion drams, while export volumes will be $ 85 million.
As RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan noted, only within the framework of the benefits granted to companies by the government of the country, the expected investment should be at least $ 500 million. In this context, the head of government pointed out the importance of completing all these projects to a logical end, excluding all obstacles for investors. -
