Within the framework of the StartHub Armenia project, implemented by Beeline and the Technological Development Center Foundation, a regular meeting-discussion of Starthub Offline was held, during which start-ups had the opportunity to communicate with leading representatives of the IT sector.
As reported by the press service of the company, Bagrat Yengibaryan, Director of the Enterprise Incubator Foundation and Andrey Pyatakhin, Executive Director of Beeline, spoke at the meeting on the Ecosystem of Startups of Armenia.
During the meeting, Yengibaryan presented the path covered and the Foundation's programs envisaged for implementation . In particular, he raised issues concerning the existing benefits and gaps of the startup ecosystem, etc. In turn, A. Pyatakhin presented Beeline programs aimed at supporting startups and prospects for possible cooperation with the telecommunications industry. "We are pleased to participate and are ready to support the development of the Armenian ecosystem from the inside. For several years, Beeline has been working closely with startups and representatives of the field. Meetings in the Starthub Offline format provide us with an opportunity to more fully understand the problems and propose appropriate solutions. In addition, we launched our own startup incubator, which helps startups to gain the necessary knowledge in order to turn good ideas into working business projects, "said Beeline CEO Andrey Pyatakhin. In turn, Bagrat Yengibaryan noted that the IT sector of Armenia registered numerous successes, which is due to the cooperation of the private and public sectors, the development of grant programs in the IT sector, the creation and development of ecosystems by large enterprises. According to him, every year 100 startups in the sphere of high technologies develop in Armenia, of which 80% continue to work in the next 2-3 years. "Now it is important to pay special attention to the regions and introduce existing experience there," he said.
