Garegin Tosunyan: Electronization in Armenia to reduce bureaucratic hurdles and corruption

Electronization in Armenia, which has been declared a priority at the governmental level, will lead to reduction of bureaucratic hurdles and corruption, President of the Association of Russian Banks Garegin Tosunyan said during an international conference on money transfers in the CIS in Yerevan on Friday.
Tosunyan pointed out the significance of the contribution of the Armenian Central Bank's current and former heads to development of the Armenian banking system. He said that the Government's support in introduction and application of up-to-date technologies played a big role here.
"I was pleased to hear the leadership of the Russian Central Bank pointing out the Armenian banking sector as a progressively developing field", he said.
Organized by UNISTREAM, the conference involves representatives of national CBs, international organizations, banking organizations, payment systems and companies developing technological solutions in the field of banking.
