ArmInfo. Armenia and Belarus do not use to the full the whole potential for cooperation within EEU, Belarusian Ambassador to Armenia Igor Nazaruk told journalists during Armenian-Belarusian business meeting, explaining his opinion with low indicators of trade turnover between the countries: "Indicator of 39 mln USD does not fully reflect our opportunities, it should be noted for comparison that Belarus foreign trade turnover with UK totals 3 bln USD, and this shows that we have work to do", the Ambassador noted.
Agricultural machinery manufacturing may become a field for further enhancement of cooperation with Armenia, Ambassador thinks. "Armenia has very favorable climate conditions for growing good agricultural products, while Belarus in its turn may offer a whole range of agricultural machinery, in order to bring Armenian agricultural production to a new qualitative and quantity level", he explained, adding that interstate political and economic dialog is on high level, which according to him has been achieved due to absence of closed topics and problematic issues.
Touching upon organization of such kind of business meetings Nazaruk noted that it creates fundamentals and strengthens partnership establishing new niches of cooperation. "This is already the third Belarusian "landing force" in a year, which testifies to high level of interest of both countries in implementation of a number of joint projects both in Belarus and Armenia", the Ambassador stated.
