ArmInfo. Armenian government provides Spayka LLC, the largest freight forwarding company in Armenia, an opportunity to postpone payments of VAT on tax and duty payoffs and import of 200 vehicles for 3 years; the relevant decision was made on the government's session on April 15.
According to Armenian Economy Minister Artsvik Minasyan Spayka plans to enlarge its vehicle fleet aimed at organization of international freight forwarding and export of fresh fruits and vegetables. Around 7.6 bln AMD will be invested for purchasing 200 new vehicles of Belgian and German production. Within the investment project 153 job places will be opened. The average monthly salary will total 155 thousand AMD in 2016, 165 thousand AMD in 2017 and 175 thousand AMD in 2018.
To note, Spayka Limited Liability Company was founded in 2001. By 2010 the company held the leading positions in cargo operations at the regional level. The company has worked out a stable industrial mechanism to sell fresh and processed Armenian agricultural products on international markets. The company cooperates with the major retail chains of the CIS, particularly, Russia. The company purchases the products from over 7,000 farm enterprises throughout the republic. The product assortment includes apricots, peaches, plums, apples, grapes, pears, etc. The products of Spayka LLC are sold under the brands "Ararat Fruit" and "Ararat Food". The company's vehicle fleet includes 115 trucks. It also has a cooling system with a capacity of 5 thsd tons.
