ArmInfo. The Russian State Duma has ratified the amendments to the Russian-Armenian agreement on cooperation in supply of natural gas, oil derivatives and rough diamonds.
TASS reports that the amendments enshrine the list of oil derivatives which will be imported from Russia to Armenia without any export customs duties. Russia's Deputy Energy Minister Yury Sentyurin said that Armenia has completely joined the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU)
and that the regulation of trade between the two countries is being amended.
In addition, the amendments remove the provision on possible transfer of the conditionally estimated export customs duties not received by Russia into the Armenian national debt.
The amendments also suggest specifying the list of oil derivatives that enjoy duty-free supplies, as well as adding liquid oil paraffin to the list.
The Russian-Armenian agreement on cooperation in supply of natural gas, oil derivatives and rough diamonds was signed on 2 Dec 2013.
