For the second week in a row, the precious metal prices demonstrate downward dynamics (dropping by 2.1% on May 23-29 versus 0.9% decline on May 16-22) due to the palladium prices that fell by 3.3% (versus the previous 2.4% decline) amid a moderate decline in the prices of other precious metals.
The State Depository of Precious Metals and Precious Stones of the Armenian Ministry of Finance has told ArmInfo that the following selling prices were set for precious metals for May 23-29: gold (small bullions) - 19453.87 AMD per 1g (down 0.7% versus the previous week), silver - 259.83 AMD (down 2.2%), platinum - 15900.30 AMD (down 2.2%) and palladium - 8869.59 AMD (down 3.3%).
Since early 2016, precious metals in Armenia have grown in price by 15.9%. In particular, silver has risen in price by 17.6%, platinum - by 17.5%, gold - by 16.9%, and palladium - by 11.7%.
