of Commerce Levon Aharonyan was present at the meeting.
The Ministry press-office told ArmInfo the Iranian delegation visited the country to discuss expansion of the bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture. Minister Karapetyan said the two countries' relations have been developing dynamically during the recent years. The minister is sure the visa-free travel regime between Armenia and Iran will boost the cooperation, including in the field of agriculture.
Members of the Iranian delegation, in turn, said Tehran seeks to organize export of agricultural products to the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) countries considering Armenia's membership of it. For more efficient organization of the export, the Armenian minister suggested establishing joint ventures to export finished products to the EEU. The minister expressed readiness to support implementation of any initiatives to boost the cooperation of the two countries.
