ArmInfo. Over the first week of August, precious metals in Armenia grew in price by 2% versus 0.4% drop a week before. Palladium demonstrated the most significant positive dynamics amid moderate growth in prices of other precious metals.
The State Depository of Precious Metals and Precious Stones of the Armenian Ministry of Finance has told ArmInfo that the following selling prices have been set for precious metals for August 1-8: gold (small bullions) - 20330.75 AMD per 1g (0.2% growth versus the previous week), silver - 303.29 AMD (0.8% rise versus the previous week), platinum - 16935.94 AMD (1.9% growth versus the previous week) and palladium - 10584.37 AMD (5.2% growth versus the previous week).
By the data of the international stock markets as of August 3, 2016, 5:07 pm Moscow time, the spot price of 1 troy ounce of gold made up $1358.5 (0.07 drop versus Aug 2), silver - $20.48 (0.15% decline versus Aug 2), platinum - $1165 (0.09% decline versus Aug 2) and palladium - $709 (0.14% drop versus Aug 2).
