Armenian exporters to receive 19 bln AMD previously charged by the state as VAT

ArmInfo. The Armenian exporters will receive 19 bln AMD previously charged by the state as VAT. The relevant decision was taken at the Government's session on September 8. Armenian Finance Minister Gagik Khachatryan said that the refunding will enable the exporters to ensure their stable activities.

Hovik Abrahamyan, the Armenian prime minister who has resigned today, pointed out the significance of the decision, because it will make it possible to resolve many problems of the local manufacturers exporting their own products.

To note, according to the Armenian legislation, the deal on deliveries is to be ratified within a 60-day period, the main documents are to be sent to the supplying country, after which the system approves the deal and the supplier receives an opportunity for VAT refunding.
