ArmInfo. Armenia will be presented to potential investors at the Investment Forum, which will be held on October 10-11 in New York, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments Garegin Melkonyan informed today on the sidelines of the 38th session of Affiliated Members of UNWTO.
According to him the forum is an especial event for Armenia in the recent years and of a colossal scale. "Eight investment directions will be presented. Armenia will be presented to the whole financial world in order to attract investments", Melkonyan noted. The forum will be held under the patronage of Armenia's President Serzh Sargsyan.
It was informed earlier that with the financial support of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and in collaboration with the international consortium headed by Ameria Management Advisory Company (with Pragma advisory company being a member of the consortium), the Armenian Government initiates "Armenia Investment Forum 2016" to be held in New York in 2016. The forum organizers point out that Armenia is a country with big investment prospects. The forum will aim to stimulate foreign investment programs, present the competitive advantages of Armenia and the economy sectors that could interest the potential investors. Tigran Jrbashyan, Development Director at Ameria Group, was saying earlier that Armenia will be presented at the forum in its true colors - with its own problems - with a view to find an adequate investor. Renewable energy, factory farming and other fields can spark the interest of foreign investors and find the relevant addressee. Prior to the forum, Armenia's investment programs will be presented in road-shows on different continents.
