ArmInfo. Delegation headed by the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Minister of International Economic Integration and Reforms Vache Gabrielyan has left for the USA with a working visit. The delegation will attend regular session of Armenian-US intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, the press-service of the Armenian government informs.
The session will take place between October 6 and 9 in Washington, the agenda of which includes several dozens of issues, related to deepening of bilateral relations.
At the same time Gabrielyan will take part in annual session of IMF Board of Directors and WB Group. Within the visit the Deputy Prime Minister will have a number of important meetings with high-ranking officials of the abovementioned financial structures. Between October 9 and 13 the delegation headed by Gabrielyan will participate in "Armenia-2016" Investment Forum in New York, where Armenia's competitive and investment advantages will be presented
According to the source, Armenia's President Serzh Sargsyan will also participate in the investment forum.
According to the National Statistic Service of Armenia foreign trade turnover in Jan-Aug between Armenia and the USA declined by 26.3% y-o-y totaling $77.5 mln. Particularly, export dropped by 29.6% to $26.5 mln and import by 24.5% to $51 mln.
