ArmInfo. Armenia holds negotiations with China to set the GSP + regime on a unilateral basis, Suren Karayan, The Economic Development and Investments Minister, told journalists in Parliament on November 7.
According to Karayan, it means that if such a preferential regime is awarded, some products of Armenian origin may be exported to China without any restrictions of custom clearance fees.
The roster of the goods is under review yet, Karayan mentioned. At that, he expressed a hope that the preferential regime will be related to all kinds of goods possessing the export potential.
According to Minster's words, Armenia carries an active export policy with EC, USA and Canada. It is planned also to expand commercial relations with Asian countries.
To remind, the GSP+ preferential trade regime is set for Armenia from January 1, 2014. It means that more than 6000 titles of Armenian products can be exported to European markets at lower custom clearance fees.
