ArmInfo. Construction of educational and sports complex of "Gazprom Armenia" CJSC is underway in Avan district of Yerevan. The project is implemented within 'Gazprom for Children" program.

As the press-service of the company informs the entire earthwork operations are already finished, the main walls of the building are built. Works on preparing the foundation for school and kindergarten are on the final stage. According to the construction plan the educational and sports center will include a school, kindergarten, swimming pool, rink, two football fields, one of which will be roofed as well as rooms for other types of sport, choreography and combat sport. Nearly 2000 people will be able to visit the center daily. The most modern technologies will be used in construction. The project has exclusive social importance, as the center will be unique in its kind in Armenia.

As it was informed earlier Gazprom will invest $49.36 mln in the construction of the complex. According to the plan three facilities-educational, sport and health center and recreation zone will be constructed on the territory of 31841 square meters. The educational center will include a kindergarten for 250 children, school for 950 children, as well as roofed swimming pool and field for mini football. Sports and health zone will include play zone, roofed rink with artificial ice for 350 people, where trainings, competitions on hockey, figure skating will be held. More than 230 job places will be opened for servicing the complex.
