The ultimate growth of GDP is expected to be fixed in Turkmenistan - 6,5%. Georgia, holding the second position, which is the former country of CIS, but traditionally is being reviewed under this category, the GDP growth 2017 is expected at 5,2%. In 2016, Azerbaijan will face a dropdown for 3%, and in 2017 - a growth for 1,2%. In Kazakhstan growth of GDP expected as 0,9% and 2,2% respectively, in Belarus - 2,5% drop down and 0,5%, in Moldova - 2,2% and 2,8%, in Ukraine - 1% and 2%.
To remind, the 2016 state budget of Armenia assumes growth for 2,2%, and for 2017 it is 3,2%. IMF forecasts 1,9% growth, EADB expects 2% growth, Fitch - up to 2%, and Moody expects Armenian GDP growth slowdown to 2,2%. The Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia also decreased its forecast down to 1,3-1,8%. Independent experts state that in Armenia an economic recession has started in Autumn 2016, which may transform into long term economic stagnation.
