ArmInfo. Starting from January 17, 2017, additional issue of common nominal stocks by "ARMECONOMBANK" OJSC will be listed on NASDAQ OMX Armenia and included in the stocks' B list, the press service of NASDAQ OMX Armenia informs.
According to the source, the additional issue comprises 144,538 stocks (ISIN - AMHEZBS10ER5) with nominal value of AMD 2,500, which will be traded under HEZB ticker symbol and will be allowed to manual and REPO trading as well. To recall, the previous issue of common nominal stocks by Armeconombank was listed on NASDAQ OMX Armenia in September 2016. Listed securities comprised 441,186 stocks (ISIN - AMHEZBS10ER5) with nominal value of AMD 2,500, which were traded under HEZB ticker symbol. Common nominal stocks of the bank have been listed on the Exchange secondary B list since 2002. Currently the total number of listed HEZB stocks amounts to 1,852,533.
To note, Armeconombank (former ZhilSotsBank of Armenian SSR) was the first of the state banks to be reorganized into a joint-stock bank with a CB registration dated 26 Aug 1991. The Bank has an OJSC status. In 1997, Armeconombank's stockholder capital radically changed when the founders of SIL Concern (the Sukiasyans family) joined the capital. In 2004, EBRD joined Armeconombank's capital. As of 1 October 2016 the majority shareholders of the Bank are EBRD - 8.2%, Saribek Sukiasyan - 33.19%, Khachatur Sukiasyan - 12.13%, Robert Sukiasyan - 12.57%, Eduard Sukiasyan - 8.29%. The Sukiasyans' family owns a total of 66.18% of the Bank's shares. According to Ranking of Armenian Banks prepared by ArmInfo as of October 1 2016 the bank's assets totaled 129.6 bln AMD (30.3% y-o-y growth), including credit exposures-72 bln AMD (25.2% y-o-y growth), general obligations-104.7 bln AMD (17.8% y-o-y growth). The Bank has 40 branches, including 19 in Yerevan, 20 in the provinces of Armenia and 1 in the NKR.
