ArmInfo. By 2017, the volume of overdue loans at Armenian banks decreased for 15,6%, and only for Q4 - for 30,5%, forming AMD 31,9 bln. According to the Central Bank data, presented to ArmInfo by Armenian National Statistics Service, the volume of extended loans decreased as well - for 9% per annum, and for 5,8 % per Q, forming AMD 99,8 bln.
By 2017, the share of extended loans formed 4,14% (versus that of 5,29% a year ago and 4,84% a quarter ago), and overdue formed 1,32% (versus 1,81% a year ago and 2,1 % quarter ago).
Long term liabilities based loans prevail among extended and form 70%, or about AMD 70 bln in monetary expression, and the overdue loans portfolio the short term liability based loans prevail not essentially: short term - 50,7%, or AMD 16,2 bln, and long term - 49,3%, or AMD 15, 7 bln.
In total, credit inputs of Armenian banking system increased for 17,6% per annum, and for 11,9% per quarter, by January 1, 2017 forming AMD 2,280 trln, and within the consideration of extended and overdue loans the total volume of bank lending formed AMD 2,412 trln with annual growth at 15,5% and quarterly growth for 10,2%.
