ArmInfo. In 2017, the  capital investments in Yerevan Municipality  will form about AMD 171  bln. For comparison, in 2016 for  urban amenities in Yerevan there  had been allocated AMD 125 bln assets, 5,2% of which - at the cost of  communities budgets and other projects within the public-private  cooperation. According to the information shared with ArmInfo at the  press office of Armenian Government, Taron Margaryan, the Mayor,  presented the works on Yerevan amenities arrangements to Prime  Minister Karen Karapetyan during their meeting on February 22. 

Yerevan Mayor informed the Prime Minister that for the  years of  2013-2016 the income of Armenian capital grew for 16,4% or for AMD 3  bln in monetary terms . The share of Yerevan revenues in all the  volume of  the incomes of Armenia forms 56,7 %, and the per capita in  Armenia is AMD 18 000. " Within the purpose of investments  environment development, the Municipality has published about 45  investment proposals in the sectors of urban development, tourism,  transport and other spheres. The investments volume estimated forms  about USD 600 mln, the Mayor mentioned. 

During the meeting, the Government  head offered to hold  common  discussions, to estimate the load, to capsulate the budget and to  decide following steps. "I do clearly understand that your resources  are restricted, but we have to determine  everyone's  responsibilities, and to decide our future steps proceeding of that.  What we have to do is to borrow  long-term financial assets within  upcoming  10-15   years, and to solve the problems. 

Mentioning the importance of the construction activation, the Prime  Minister stated: " We have to reanimate the urban development, and  the municipality team should participate in  the investments  involvement process. It is necessary to pay attention not only to the  quantity, but also to the content of those arrangements, " the  Government  Head stated,  mentioning the importance of the works  implemented to have a proper consequence.
