ArmInfo. The State Committee for Urban Development of Armenia discussed the implementation of the project for the construction of a new ethnic quarter Noy in Yerevan.
As the department's press service told ArmInfo, in the territory adjacent to the "Dalma Garden", the construction of an ethnic quarter is planned, where apart from the residential complex, hotels (hostels), studios, paintings, drawings and national crafts will be located.
The program was preceded by studies in various regions of Armenia. The project was modified by the architect, the specialist of the Department for International Cooperation and Construction Investment Projects of the State Committee for Urban Planning Artavazd Tarkhanyan. Young specialists, students of the Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction will be involved in the works. "The implementation of the investment program will contribute to the further development of cultural tourism in Armenia and increasing its recognition", the State Committee for Urban Development of Armenia said.
Earlier it was reported that from the proposed investment projects worth $ 230 million, submitted by the State Committee to the government, the fully realistic for 2017 were recognized urban development programs of $ 105 million.
