ArmInfo. In 2017 the Nature Protection Ministry planned to solve 8 priority tasks and 6 projects. This was stated by Artsvik Minasyan, the Minister of Nature Protection, during the working meeting at Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan's office, dedicated to the economic development of the country.
According to Minasyan, in 2017 it is planned to reduce the Ararat valley underground waters consumption for 570 mln cubic meters, which in the results of the year will form 1,1 bln cubic meters from 1,6 bln being used now. By this, Minister went on, the appropriate requirement of the law will be observed.. But the main goal of the Ministry is to reach the targeted indicator of 800 mln cubic meters .According to the Minister, that will lead to the review of fish plants and other enterprises applications review.
Artsvik Minasyan informed also that there are 25 investment projects submitted to the Ministry of Economic Development, including the Garni Ropeway Project and Djermuk National Park.
