ArmInfo. By the end of 2017 Armenian Geological Fund information will become available for the public, particularly, for all the possible investors.

According to Shushanik Qerobyan, the head of the department of mineral resources agency, normative and analysts of Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of Armenia, the digitalization of Fund documents is being consequently implemented.  "Within the events on providing availability of the information, the digitalization of the Fund's documents will be finished by the end of the year, which will allow to provide their accessibility to the public, and provide cooperation in involving new investments in the sphere", the head of the department said.

According to Shushanik Qerobyan, 65% of all the documents is already digitalized, 60% of which is placed on the gro-fund.am website, and is available for everyone. The distribution of other part of the documents is in process. During Q1 2017, 42 documents on birthplaces of natural endowments have already been digitalized, 8 from which is related to the category of estimated.

To recall, the project of digitalization, which started from the Q2 of 2016, is being implemented together with the USA Agency of International Development.
