ArmInfo. Armenia will participate in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (PIEF), which will be held on the site of the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Center on 1-3 June. The Armenian Ambassador to Russia Vardan Toghanian reported this.
At the same time, he said that the level of the delegation is now being worked out: "I think that by mid-May we will have an understanding of the level of presence."
The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (PIEF) is the annual business event in Russia in the economic sphere, held in St. Petersburg since 1997, and since 2005 with the participation of the Russian President. Each year the number of participants exceeds 4 thousand people who come from more than 60 countries. The main audience of the forum is the leaders of the largest Russian and foreign companies, heads of states and political leaders, prime ministers, vice-premiers, ministers, governors. The key mission of the forum is to be a practical tool for business, allowing to overcome the barriers that separate Russia and other countries, both geographically and informationally.
