According to him, Air Company is only means of passenger's transportation from A point to B. 90% of Armenian population applied for the services of Pegasus Air Company or Turkish Airlines, flying from Tbilisi, now these flights are being done directly from Armenia", the director of the department stated, adding that the profit of Turkish low-cost to Armenia will allow to increase tourism potential of the Republic.
Earlier ArmInfo informed that Pegasus Airlines would start flights from Istanbul to Armenian capital from July 1. The flights will be implemented 3 times a week: on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Pegasus Airlines is the second large air company in Turkey, it has been working for more than 20 years on budget flights arrangement. Air company implements regular flights in 33 directions in Turkey and 70 directions all over the world, route network counts 103 directions in 40 countries. Pegasus Air craft park has more than 60 jetliners, mostly different models of Boeing. The average term of exploitation is for 5.3 years.
