ArmInfo. In April 2016, the economic activeness grew by 3.4%, and only in April 2017 by0.3%. A year earlier, in January-April 2016, by the same period of 2015, economic activity increased by 6%, in April compared with April 2015 - by 6.8%, and only in April - by 4%. By way of comparison, note that in 2015 economic activity in January-April increased by 2.7% per annum, only in April - by 3.4% (with an annual growth by 3.2%).

According to National Statistical Service of Armenia, the growth of economic activity in January-April 2017 was due to industrial sector- by 12.9% per annum, trade sector- by 12.1%, services sector- by 10.1% per annum, the growth of energy sector was more modest- 4.4%. Annual decline of volumes is registered in agricultural sector- 2.9% and constructing sector- 13.4%.

The index of prizes of industrial products increased in January-April 2017 by 3.3% compared with that of 2016, and decreased in only April 2017 by 0.6%. A year earlier, in January-April 2016, in comparison with the same period in 2015, the industrial production price index increased by 3.4%, in April 2016 compared to April 2015 - by 1.8%, and only in April 2016 - by 0, 5%. As a comparison, in January-April, the industrial production price index rose by 4.2% per annum, in April 2015 compared with April 2014 - by 0.8%, but only in April 2015 decreased by 0.9%.

In the same month (in April), the agrarian sector gave a decisive impetus to the growth of economic activity, which increased the gross output by 54.2% (against growth of 55.7% in April 2016). The rest of the spheres reduced volumes in April: the energy complex - by 11.4% (against growth of 5.6% a year earlier), industrial sector - by 7% (against growth of 4.7% a year earlier), construction sector - by 8.8% % (against the decline of 9.3% a year earlier), the trade volume - by 1.1% (against the decline of 2.2% a year earlier) and the services sector - by 0.7% (against the decline by 2.6% year-on-year Previously).
