ArmInfo. The US State Department has provided a grant for the implementation of the program for the development of agriculture in Armenia, the US Embassy in Armenia reports.
According to the report, annually the grant program of the Innovation Fund for the involvement of alumni of the US State Department helps graduates of exchange programs building a "prosperous and free society".
This year the US State Department received 1,014 applications from 125 countries and financed 68 projects, one of them from Armenia. This is a team project presented by the graduates of the Fulbright Curriculum Armen Ghazaryan, Gayane Sarkisyan and the graduate of the Muskie program Asthine Poghosyan.
The purpose of their proposal is to form the future of agriculture in Armenia, by conducting practical courses on the successful launch of agribusiness for university students.
