ArmInfo. The solutions proposed at the Armenian-Iranian forum "Nanoscience and Technologies" can be further implemented in companies that use high technologies. The Minister of Economic Development and Investments of the Republic of Armenia Suren Karayan on September 22 at the opening ceremony of the forum, which will last two days, announced this.
The minister noted that he recently visited the Free Economic Zone of Aras, where he was convinced that friendly Iran had achieved serious success. According to him, for the Armenian business in these conditions, good conditions and opportunities for using this potential are opening up.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran to Armenia Kazem Sadjadi noted that the peoples are getting better acquainted with each other and the opportunities of the two countries. "Well-known Iranian scientists have achieved serious results in the field of nanotechnology, and we hope that the Armenian side will be able to make better use of these opportunities and also achieve good results," Sadjadi said.
The head of the Main Directorate for the Development of Nanotechnologies in Iran, Said Sarkar, added that the interaction of the two countries in this sphere promises to be serious and very deep.
Tomorrow, companies engaged in the field of technology will present their products, commercialization experience, and hold discussions between Armenian and Iranian companies on the possibilities for further cooperation.
The Ministry of Economic Development and Investments jointly with the Council for Nanotechnology of Iran organized the forum with the co-financing of the European Union within the framework of the SMEDA program supported by the German International Cooperation Association (GIZ).
