ArmInfo. The growth of trade turnover between Armenia and Russia in the first 8 months of 2017 reached 30%. As the RA President's Press Office informs, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev stated this at a meeting with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.
"Indeed, we are partners and friends, we have very developed relations in all spheres, while there is no sphere in which we do not cooperate at present, for example, very good dynamics is recorded in the sphere of agricultural products supply." Here, Armenia significantly expanded its presence in Russia market, although it is clear that interaction can be deepened. Interaction in other areas: IT, security and defense, interaction in the field of investment is deepening," the Russian prime minister said.
According to him, in the course of the Yerevan talks, the opportunities for joint work in the Free Trade Zone created in cooperation with Iran and a number of other large-scale programs were also discussed.
Sargsyan noted the high level of the political dialogue of the Armenian-Russian relations, broad coordination of foreign policy, good joint work at international venues, cooperation in the military sphere, economy, trade.
