ArmInfo. "The draft budget  for 2018 under the current conditions of Armenia and with our muscles  is the best option that the government could develop," Armenian Prime  Minister Karen Karapetyan said at a press conference.

According to him, the draft budget-2018 laid the foundation for  economic development in 2019.  "Unfortunately, based on our existing  realities, in 2017 we could not lay the foundation for economic  growth in 2018, but despite this, next year the Armenian economy will  record unequivocal progress, this is evidenced by the current figures  thanks to the available potential, but no concrete steps were taken  in this direction in 2017. But in the draft budget of 2018 we laid  the foundation for economic development for 2019, "the prime minister  said.

He also expressed confidence that the government will be able to  fulfill the budget of 2018 completely, and in some respects even  overfulfil. "For example, our forecasts for growth in agriculture for  2018 fluctuate within 4%, but I am sure that if there are no natural  disasters, we will exceed this figure," Karapetyan said.
