ArmInfo. In January-September, 2017, the Tax Inspectorate - the Office of Large and Medium-Size Taxpayers of the State Revenue Committee of the Armenian Republic (GGD) recorded a reduction in the volume of taxes paid in a number of spheres.
As the press service of the Armenian State Depository Committee informs, according to the results of the post-industry (sector-wide) analysis among large and medium-sized taxpayers, the tax inspection revealed a decrease in the level of tax revenues in 30 spheres by 18.2 billion drams. In particular, during the reporting period, tax cuts were recorded in the areas of communications, construction, construction, publishing and import of medicines.
At the same time, for 9 months of 2017, compared with the same period of the previous year, there was an increase in tax revenues in 53 spheres in the amount of 51.1 billion drams. Growth is fixed, in particular, in the areas of cigarette production, energy, mining, banking, import and trade.
It should be noted that according to the State Revenue Committee of Armenia (KGDA), large and medium- sized taxpayers increased tax payments to the state budget by 9.2% per annum or 37 billion drams for 10 months of 2017, providing a volume of 437 billion drams. This amounts to 61% of the total tax revenue of the budget.
