Within the framework of the program of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) "Good local government in the South Caucasus" with the assistance of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany and co- financing the Armenian Office of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in the city of Noyemberyan, Tavush region of Armenia, the official opening of the Office for Citizens Service took place. The program is implemented jointly with the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Development of Armenia.
According to the press service of the Ministry, starting from 2015, 13 offices for servicing citizens in Shinuhayr, Tumanyan, Abovyan, Artashat, Zaritap, Pemzashen, Urtsadzor, Ashtarak, Alaverdi, Gorayk, Amasia, Arpi, Meghri and Vanadzor.
The establishment of offices for servicing citizens will allow, according to the principle of "one window, one stop", to provide citizens with high-quality services, improve the efficiency and transparency of the work of community administrations, and simplify the administrative process. That will ensure the provision of community services based on the principles of good governance.
The work of civil service offices will be carried out using the Community Management Information System, which, as an information system allows automated management of information flows in community administrations. The system helps to increase the transparency and accountability, and reduce the time spent on providing services. Through the system, online services may be provided to the public, monitor their progress, contact the appropriate specialists if there are any questions.
