ArmInfo. The large and medium-sized taxpayers of Armenia increased the volume of tax payments by 9% per annum or by 39.9 billion AMD, sending 483 billion AMD to the state treasury for 11 months in 2017.
According to the press service of Armenian State Revenue Committee, overpayments after the growth in the same period of 2016 by 16.4 billion AMD, in the same period of 2017 decreased by 4.7 billion AMD, which, taking into account the growth of tax revenues, amounted to 61 billion drams. In the period from December 1, 2016 to December 1, 2017 for all taxes and payments, the total amount of overpayments decreased by 13.7 billion drams or 7.3%.
Meanwhile, in January-November 2017 it was possible to reduce tax liabilities by 5.8 billion AMD or 36.3%. During the same period, tax revenues from taxpayers with a high level of risk could be increased by 20%, whereas a group with a low level of risk ensured an increase in tax revenues by 7%.
At the end of 11 months, the number of tax invoices issued increased by 19%, and sales turnover by them - by 10.5%, fiscal revenues by cash registers - by 11%. As a result of meetings and explanatory work with individual taxpayers, according to the submitted corrected calculations, in January-November 2017, the amount of VAT and profit tax increased by 3.9 billion drams.
