ArmInfo. The Armenian government will send 285 million drams to subsidize the program for the country's farmers to buy phosphate and potash fertilizers. The corresponding draft decision was approved at a government meeting on February 22.
According to the Deputy Minister of Agriculture Robert Makaryan, in the framework of the program "State support to agricultural farmers to purchase fertilizers at affordable prices," 3,000 tons of fertilizers will be purchased for agricultural work in 2018. Of these, 180 million drams of subsidies will be allocated to purchase 1500 tons of phosphate fertilizers (in the 50 kg bag the subsidy will be 6 thousand AMD). The volume of potassium fertilizer purchased will also amount to 1,500 tons (the subsidized amount in 1 bag will be 3,500 AMD).
Within the program, the deputy minister said, 50 kilograms bags of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers will be sold for 7,000 drams. Thus, 303 million 750 thousand drams will be allocated from the state budget for 443 250 thousand drams for the implementation of the program, as a result, it will be possible to save 139.5 million drams The amount will be paid to LLC "TD Donskoy Agrohim Center" for the organization of supplies. Another 18 million 750 thousand drams of grant funds without a tender announcement will be allocated to the Agency of Seeds SNCO for organization of transportation and loading and unloading works in the country's communities.
