ArmInfo. The Minister of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia, Suren Karayan, met with the delegation of the World Bank led by Marialisa Motta, Head of the Global Practice on Trade, Competitiveness and Innovation in the Europe and Central Asia Region.
As the press service of the ministry informs, during the meeting the parties discussed issues related to priorities and further steps to implement activities within the framework of the World Bank program "Stimulating trade and quality of infrastructures".
Marialisa Motta, expressing satisfaction with the current progress of the project, stressed the importance of further active cooperation. S.Karayan stated that the program is crucial for the Armenian economy, as it is aimed at improving trade and quality of infrastructure, which is an important part of Armenia's export-oriented economy.
According to the source, the parties also exchanged views on the program "Digital Economy. Armenia", as well as discussed the possible role of the World Bank in the development of the document" Innovation Development Strategy."
