ArmInfo. Converse Bank launches a more modern and convenient service - Card to Card, which can be used by cardholders of all Armenian banks in making international and local money transfers through the payment portal of Converse Bank.
According to the press service of the Bank, in order to use this service, there is no need to visit the Bank, however, you should register on the Converse Bank payment portal, fill in the required fields in the transfer from card to card window and make a transfer. The amount is credited to the card of the recipient and becomes available within a few seconds. Card to Card service is available around the clock. According to the announcement, in order to promote this service, the Bank announced a campaign in which cardholders of RA banks can make transfers from card to card on preferential terms as part of the ArCa, Visa and MasterCard payment systems provided by the 3D Secure security system. According to the analytical review "Armenian banks in the card business" No. 17, prepared by ArmInfo Investment Company, Converse Bank, both in the total number of active cards and in the number of Visa and MasterCard are in the TOP-5. By April 1, 2018, the bank increased the total number of active cards by 31.1% - to 206.4 thousand. In the total number of active bank cards, Visa accounted for 27.8% (57.3 thousand units with an annual growth of 21.3%), MasterCard - 11.2% (23.2 thousand units with an annual growth of 18.9%), and the remaining 61% are local ArCa (126 thousand units with an annual growth of 38.9%). Converse Bank increased the volume of plastic transactions in 2017 by 59.3% per annum to 320.7 billion drams, having fixed itself on this indicator in the 1st position. As of April 1, 2018, the Bank has 119 ATMs and 927 of its own POS terminals. Converse Bank issues and services on a par with local ArCa cards also Visa and MasterCard.
