ArmInfo. The Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia forced the subsoil users to begin fulfilling their financial obligations to the country's budget and local communities, the total amount of which was about 963 million drams.
According to the General Prosecutor's Office, initiating in the summer the process of checks on the fulfillment of obligations by subsoil users, 320 entities were identified with substantial debts in the line of payments for land restoration in the amount of 523 million drams. In terms of state duties, 123 subsoil users turned out to have not paid 160 million drams. Among 417 subjects, the debt to the local communities was 280 million drams.
As a result of the measures taken, at the beginning of November, the Department for the Protection of State Interests of the Prosecutor General's Office managed to ensure that the entities fulfilled their obligations in the amount of 300 million drams. Work on the repayment of the remaining financial liabilities will be continued in accordance with the developed schedules.
