ArmInfo. The "Ginap" company is exempted from paying customs duties for importing technological equipment, their components and raw materials to Armenia. The decision was made at the December 6 meeting of the RA government.
According to the Acting RA Minister of Economic Development and Investments Tigran Khachatryan, the equipment is imported in order to organize the production of flexographic printing from artificial and plastic films, as well as vacuum bags, bags for cheese, coffee and other products. The program provides for an investment of 2.5 billion drams. Starting from 2021, the volume of investments will increase by another 1 billion drams. In addition, 8.9 billion drams will be directed to the purchase of raw materials. The project will open 50 new jobs. The average salary at the enterprise employees will make 180 thousand drams. The total production is planned at the level of 3 billion drams, of which production amounting to 2.5 billion drams will be sold in Armenia, and products amounting to 300 million drams will be exported to the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union and products amounting to 200 million drams to third-country markets.
