ArmInfo. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) expressed readiness to assist Armenia in ensuring an inclusive model of economic growth embedded in the new government program. This was announced during the meeting of the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan with the delegation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), headed by the head of the Armenian IMF mission Hosein Samiy.
According to the press service of the ministry, members of the IMF delegation were interested in the vision of the Armenian government on anti-corruption issues, social protection issues and improving the business environment, as well as the distribution of the ministry's functions in these areas.
At the request of the guests, Tigran Khachatryan presented a number of issues of concern to the IMF delegation, in particular, explained the specific actions of the Ministry in the above-mentioned areas and steps to improve the business environment. The parties agreed to continue cooperation in accordance with the list of priorities, which will be prepared by the Armenian government.
