ArmInfo."To be honest, my ideas about the situation prevailing in a number of areas were much better than I now see in reality," Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a meeting with representatives of the Armenian community of Strasbourg yesterday. Nevertheless, according to Pashinyan, as a whole, in Armenia everything goes as it should go, as he imagined.
As the Armenian prime minister pointed out, the ideology of the economic revolution of the government of Armenia, which was on everyone's lips for a year, is quite simple. "We say the formulation that was laid in the basis of the political revolution should also be laid in the basis of the economic revolution. This formulation is to encourage individual efforts, help people to believe in themselves, to encourage the talent of our people," Pashinyan explained.
In particular, as the head of the Cabinet of Ministers stressed, in today's Armenia no one can say: I want to do business, but I am not allowed, this is excluded. "I do not exclude that such cases can take place, but these cases occur in secret from us, and when we catch those who do this, we know what will happen to them," the premier said.
At the same time, those who doubt future economic growth, who today point to the lack of achievements in the economy, Nikol Pashinyan said that there is no second such case in world history for a revolution to occur in the country and the collapse of the economy would not follow it. "The Armenian economy is growing today - in ten months the number of jobs increased by 51 thousand or 10%, which is an unprecedented indicator," said Nikol Pashinyan. He recalled that only in the first quarter of 2019, the program indicator of tax collection was exceeded by 11.4 billion, which also indicates the growth of the economy. "At the same time, no one complains about tax terror," the Prime Minister of Armenia concluded.
