Despite the ongoing  restructuring process, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and  Information Technology is ready to support new programs and ideas.This was announced on the eve of the visit to the Armenian  representation of the Vineti company by the head of the ministry  Hakob Arshakyan.

It should be noted that the company, founded in 2016 in San  Francisco, has been operating in Armenia for two years. The company  employs more than 35 employees not only from local residents, but  also specialists from the USA, India, Russia, Poland and other  countries.According to the press service of the ministry, the  minister examined the company, got acquainted with the general  directions of its activities and the services provided, talked to  employees. At the meeting, it was noted that Vineti regularly  organizes internships for students of local universities, and those  who achieve the best results become employees of the company. 

Hakob Arshakyan proposed to expand the scope of activities by  offering to implement curricula directly in universities with the  involvement of a larger number of students, teachers and scholars,  which will increase the efficiency of cooperation in the labor  market. Technological companies can become partners of the National  Polytechnic University, Yerevan State University, American University  of Armenia, Russian- Armenian (Slavonic) and other universities of  Armenia.During the conversation with the management of the company,  the Minister also touched upon the common technological ecosystem in  Armenia, the digital agenda, the creation of new companies. 

It was noted that steps are already being taken to organize  familiarization visits by newly established companies to Silicon  Valley. The minister also expressed his willingness to help companies  such as Vinety develop mechanisms that present the Armenian  technological potential to the world, as well as products  manufactured by local companies in foreign countries, which will be  exported.During the meeting, representatives of the company also  presented to the Minister questions that foreign specialists come to  Armenia to work or invest. They are mainly related to work permits,  as well as the procedure for obtaining citizenship, with the tax  field. Hakob Arshakyan noted that the government of the Republic of  Armenia took steps to simplify all procedures so that foreign  businessmen, investors or individual professionals would not have any  obstacles for their activities in Armenia.
