ArmInfo. The company "Jermuk Group" invests in the expansion of production of 363 million drams. The Government of Armenia at its meeting on May 23 approved the company's application for exemption from customs payments for imported equipment.
As the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan noted, the investment program of the company is mainly aimed at purchasing truck-trailers for exporting products. Currently, the company employs 385 people with an average salary of 180-200 thousand drams. The implementation of the new project will create another 13 new jobs with an average monthly salary of 300 thousand drams. Under the investment program, the company's production volumes will be increased to 767 million drams, of which 30 million drams will be sold in Armenia, 690 million drams in the EEU countries and 47 million drams in third countries. In 2018, the company paid 1.263 billion drams to the state budget.
