As a result, during the reporting period, the recorded turnover of trade, based on cashier's checks, increased by about 28 billion drams compared to May 2018.So, according to the press service of the State Revenue Committee (CGD) of Armenia, if in May 2019 38 million cash checks were printed, then in May last year the figure reached about 25 million. On the basis of the issued CCA checks, 22.1% was recorded fiscal revenue growth- from last year's 127 billion drams, to 155 billion drams.
Recall that on June 12, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, on his Facebook page, touching on the printed CCA checks, wrote that the Government of Armenia had surpassed not only pre-revolutionary, but also revolutionary indicators. The head of government also expressed his gratitude to all entrepreneurs who conscientiously print cash checks. "I express my gratitude to all citizens who everywhere require CCA checks. Thanks to the taxes paid by you, dear compatriots, the salaries of our servicemen have significantly increased,"- pointed out the prime minister.Earlier, on May 8, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the regular - 5th meeting with journalists in the format of a "big press conference", summing up his annual activity as head of government, said that, taking into account tax revenues to the budget in the first quarter of this year, the government revised its expectations for tax revenues by the end of the year at 62 billion drams or $ 129 million. Due to this, as the head of the government pointed out, the Cabinet decided to increase the salaries of teachers and the money allowances for servicemen.
