ArmInfo. The actual execution of tax revenues of the state treasury for January-June 2019 exceeded the program indicator by 67.9 billion drams, and the revised figure was exceeded by 62.7 billion drams - reaching 713.4 billion drams. This was stated by Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia David Ananyan on July 9 at a press conference.
Previously, the tax service, including on the basis of a study of the annual calculation of taxpayers who were represented in the SRC before April 20 of this year, revised their tax expectations for tax collections upwards. Already on May 8, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the next - 5th meeting with journalists, said that by the end of the year tax revenues would exceed the program figure set at the state budget by 62 billion drams or $ 129 million.
According to Ananyan, if the budget tax expectations in the state budget in the Q1 coincided with the actual collection - at the level of 285.1 billion drams, in the Q2 the program indicator from the fixed 365.5 billion drams was adjusted to 650.7 billion drams, but in fact reached 713.4 billion drams, exceeding the revised program figure by 9.6%.
Thus, out of 713.4 billion drams, 553 billion drams were provided by the tax authorities, instead of 418.9 billion drams for the same period of 2018 (an increase of 32%), and customs officers - 160.4 billion drams instead of last year's 152.9 billion drams (an increase by 4.9%)
In addition, if, as of January 1, 2018, the indicator for transitional overpayments (that is, it is the state that owes taxpayers) was 132.7 billion drams, by the end of June it was equal to 10.5 billion drams (the balance on the single treasury account was 32.5 billion drams).
At the same time, in the H1 of 2019, in Armenia, 56 million 409 thousand 101 cash checks were printed or 40.4% more than in the same period of 2018 -196 million 183 thousand 196 cash register checks. Based on the issued cash register checks, a 21.3% increase in the republic's fiscal revenue was recorded - about 150 billion drams.
At the same time, the head of the SRC urged not to hope for the continuation of this growth trend in tax revenue in the second half of the year. According to him, the tax and customs committee is likely to collect exactly as much as budgeted - 373.7 billion drams in the Q3 and 382.6 billion drams in the Q4.
It should be noted that in 2018, according to the approved budget, the tax revenues of the state treasury were laid at the level of 1.255.8 billion drams or 20.3% of GDP. In 2019, tax revenues and state fees, according to the state budget, will be 1.401.8 billion drams.
