ArmInfo. On July 12, Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan received a delegation led by . Chief Executive Officer of Masdar Egyptian company Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi.
According to the press service of the government, Avinyan noted that he remembers the recent meeting with the State Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and expressed confidence that a new page for cooperation between Armenia and the United Arab Emirates will open soon, especially in the economic sectore. In this context, the Deputy Prime Minister stressed the importance of cooperation established between the Masdar company and the State Fund for the Interests of Armenia.
In turn, Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi noted that there is a great potential for developing relations between the two countries, and company representatives want to be part of the deepening cooperation between Armenia and the United Arab Emirates and support Armenia in achieving the goals of sustainable energy development.
During the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Avinyan presented to the guests the potential of Armenia in the field of renewable energy and investment, as well as the country's role in the regional energy system.
Later, the Deputy Prime Minister attended the signing ceremony of a memorandum of cooperation between the Masdar company and the Armenian State Interest Fund.
